Ingredients
- 1 gallon spring water with screw top cap
- 2 32oz clover honey
- 1/2 packet of red star live dry yeast
- 1 unused nitrile glove
- rubber band
- small paper clip
Directions
- Remove seal and leave honey containers in sun for an hour to liquify honey.
- Pour out half gallon of water to make room for honey.
- Add both bottles of liquified honey. Shake very well inbetween bottles and at the end.
- Make sure to leave 3-4 inches of air at the top.
- Add in 1/2 packet of yeast and shake to distribute.
- Rubber band glove to top of gallon water bottle and save screw top cap.
- Heat top of paper clip with flame to sanitize and poke 5 through holes (10 openings) in middle finger of glove.
- Leave in a cool dark place, away from sunlight for 1-2 months.
- Periodically check, especially for the first few days, to make sure gas has not become trapped and is not building pressure.
